With a very heavy and happy stomach I greet all the Whataburger Lovers. The Rosa Especial is a #5 (bacon cheeseburger) mayo and mustard all veggies with jalapeƱos on a small bun. This is the perfect combination and at one point in life, I would go there so often that the staff knew my order. Yes, I was 50 pounds heavier and did not a see a problem at all. What can I say - I'm a food addict!

Whataburger is a fast food chain that is open 24 hours a day and is addictive. I think they have other stuff like salads, but I'm sure sure I've never willingly ordered one. The ketchup is so good that they now sell it at the grocery store:)

In 2012 I did order a bacon burger in Jinja, although it was very good, it was no Whataburger. Bacon was really a tiny piece of ham. Most of the community have very little or no access to fresh meat. It was very embarrassing that the village kids would pinch the fat around my arm. They had NO body fat! It was rare for them to touch a fatty arm. I had not realized how big we must appear to them. With all of our technology and advancement we choose to overindulge in bad foods. It really made me think that both America and Africa suffer from malnutrition. One from having too much and one from having nothing. Nutritional training is so important to both cultures. Will try to have the best possible diet available to me here in order to be a good example of a healthy American.

I boldly pray that missionaries across the world have the nourishment they need not only for themselves, buy for their community. Lord please keep the Segner family healthy and nourished with the best foods they need today. They are a sharing family. Thank you for this beautiful day. Amen.
