A friendly and positive disclaimer this morning: Warning- this blog contains bacon and bacon thoughts. If you are Vegan, Vegeterian or have non bacon religious beliefs this is the time to log off. We will agree to disagree and we can meet tomorrow morning with no bad feelings.
Patiently waiting for bloggers to log off... It takes me about 5 minutes to find the right button. Two hours later, I find out that I pushed the wrong cyber button:(
YES, I REALLY REALLY LIKE BACON!!!! You may have recently heard of pop culture bacon. It's the new flavor in the foodie community and most cooking shows. As much as I enjoy the popularity and the vast variety, I have been part of the Bacon nation from the days of pancakes and bacon. Not many choices at that time. Yes, I want bacon. Yes, I need bacon. Yes, I will try the bacon no matter how awful it sounds. No, not ALL things wrapped in bacon are good. FYI - bacon chap stick smells like dog food. Good idea, bad execution. Pretend it Forest Gump and we are here for a series all the types of shrimp. Mmmm bacon wrapped shrimp. FOCUS!
Prayer for today is for my brother in Christ - Jason Segner, he is a bacon nation citizen. Dear Lord I boldly pray that Jason has a day with no Ugandan time delays. Please let him be productive and efficient with all his tasks. Let him have a Burger King fast food experience - have it his way with no waiting. Lord please show Jason your love with the timing he needs today. In your name, Amen.
