Hola Blogger Nation
When I positively say Low tech, I really mean No Tech. Technology, computers and any powered equipment and I just don't get along. Most of the time, my fat fingers makes me click too many things. Not sure how to close internet windows without shutting down the whole computer. I don't have a computer, Internet, fax, camera, copier, printer or cable. Most of these were eliminated due to lack of funds. The local library and my sister are my go to Internet hubs.
Several days after our team arrived to Uganda, I lost my phone. It was an Android that for me was very high tech. Was just entering the Facebook addiction and was now texting daily. Most of the trip I used the computer very seldom. The internet is available at the Segner residence, but there is not always electricity. My lack of phone was so insignificant when people did not have water. So thankful that I was able to appreciate Jinja with no technological interruptions.
Lord, I boldly pray that the Segner family have the basic technology resources they need today. Electricity, water, fuel, automobile, phone service. Lord, let them feel that they are loved and respected for all the sacrifices they endure daily. Lord, please don't let me focus on the things I don't have, but on all the blessing that you have given me. In your name, Amen
