* Boldly pray
Good Morning Blogger Nation
I was so blessed to meet and spend time in the home of Kari Segner for a very short time back in Dec 2012. When you see this women you know exactly what the Proberbs 31 woman looks like on earth. She is very tall, (well I'm very short:), her shoulders are strong and confident, her eyes are kind and full of compassion, her spirit is full of God's love for Africa, and her voice is full of wisdom and knowledge. Her family gravitates to her love, her ministry screams God Loves You, her determination is unexplainable, her stength to endure the challenges of life is Herculean, her ability to be a woman of God is intoxicating. This does not include that she is a great Christian, mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and missionary. The best part of admiring her, is her ability to thank The Lord for all her blessings. I can't wait to spend some time with her this summer.
Today, my daily devotional about the Proberb 31 woman speaks about the power of prayer. Prayer is a mindset, an attitude, an atmosphere we create. "When we work, we work. But when we pray, God works. The purpose of prayer is to bring heaven's power to bear on earth's circumstances. As my affirmation for the day: I devote myself to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
I boldly pray for the adoption process of Joseph in Kari Segner's life be resolved. That ALL the legal and political red tape be desolved today. Lord, please let Joseph know that he is loved and he will always have a family and community that support him. Lord, bring Joseph home.
Prayerful Rosa
