Jambo- Hola- Howdy- Hi Blogger Nation

Proverbs 31 daily devotional explains T.A.G. as Time Alone with God. During our trip to Uganda in 2012, our leader would call it quiet time. We were required to take a journal on our mission. I was not used to this concept. My journal was a documentary on facts: Time of flight, team members names, the fatigue I was having. It took the daily devotional to explain the importance of writing and listening to God. I now T.A.G. Most mornings. The details are more about being grateful and blessed for so many things.

Change of place plus change of pace equals change of perspective. Being away from the daily stresses of life in a different country, slower pace of living really changed my perspective of the priorities in life. If I don't make time for God first thing in the morning, then what is my priority for the day? If I truly believe God comes first, then I must do that daily in order to reinforce my beliefs.

I boldly pray that All Missinaries in Uganda have the opportunity to T.A.G. The ones working for Aid prevention, orphanages, adopting children, mosquito nets, education, shoes, water and many more. That they have the time and energy to spend time with you Lord daily. Don't let them do he work and lose sight of the bigger picture. Give them strength daily.
