Howdy everyone! My name is Shelby Samuels and I am currently a senior at Texas A&M. Whoop! Although I am really excited to graduate, I'm really heartbroken that I have to leave this little town that I've come to know and treasure so much.  However, I am excited to say that I will be heading to nursing school at Texas Woman's University in Dallas this fall. Hooray for new adventures!

With that being said, I am completely humbled by the Lord's faithfulness in bringing me to Africa this summer. I have always felt a deep desire to do missions with children and orphans somewhere in Africa, and have just been waiting on the Lord's perfect timing to send me there.  I have a passion for underserved and impoverished children, and have had the opportunity to be a part of the lives of several kids during my time in college. I could not be more excited to be heading to Uganda this summer and getting to serve the people and the kiddos of this country! This will be my first time in Africa, and I can hardly wait to be there!

I am expectant that the Lord will do incredible things and am honored that I will have the privilege of getting to witness His almighty work in action. To God be all the glory!!
